What we collect

• Email address (typically a school .edu address) — used only to verify athlete status and to sign you in.
• Reviews, ratings, questions, and answers you choose to submit.
• Trust badge selection (Current Athlete / Former Athlete).
• Standard server logs (timestamps, IP addresses) retained briefly for abuse prevention.

What we DO NOT show publicly

Your email address is never displayed anywhere on the platform. Posts are fully anonymous — only the Current / Former trust badge is visible. We do not display fragments, hashes, initials, or any identifier derived from your email.

How we use your data

• Verifying your school affiliation.
• Aggregating reviews into program-level ratings.
• Detecting spam, harassment, and policy violations.
• Sending authentication emails (magic links).

AI moderation

Written content is sent to an AI moderation service (Lovable AI Gateway, Google Gemini) to detect profanity, harassment, threats, and personal identifiers. Content is not used to train any third-party model.

Third parties

• Resend — sends verification emails.
• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — stores application data.
• Lovable AI Gateway — runs content moderation.

Your rights

You can delete your account and associated content at any time from the account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request a copy of your data through the report form.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie (lr_session) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Locker Room is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
